This small RAID array is, in certain prospect, your guarantee against overselling. We don’t oversell, we are against that, and we can’t oversell!

Each 80 Gb RAID is divided is 8 parts:
1 part is reserved to the host system
7 parts are used to create up to 7 VPS; usually 4 or 5 because some VPS need 2 or 3 parts.

There is absolutely no way to oversell under these conditions. So we run only a few VPS on each node and they share the network and the impressive processing power of the machines.

Even our Offer number 1 at $25/month is more powerful than many dedicated servers! This Zone scores more than 700 on WHT benchmark. Most of our competitors provide VPS that score more or less 100. You can find out more and compare figures here.

Deciding Question
Why we don’t sell VPS for $3/month? Entry level hosts use large SATA drives sometimes with RAID but often without. In a dual Xeon with 8 Gb of DDR, they can deploy hundreds of VPS. Whether you go for a 256 Mb, a 512 Mb or more, you will get the same sluggish performance. These machines have no available RAM. What you get is 256 Mb or 512 Mb of swap! The swap is just a space in a hard drive and it’s used by servers when there is no memory available. Obviously, it is many million times slower than the RAM.

Our Dedicated Cloud Zones are based on machines with 0 swap policy. Any machine on FIAHOST racks must work with 0 swap more than 99,99% of the time. We place only a few zones on any given host. As we use the most advanced hardware in the industry, you can trust that any of your Dedicated Cloud Zones is many times faster and reliable than a dedicated server for a comparable price.
